Gil is a "points" system that is active on our forums, for now it serves no real purpose but we may review this and add fun little features or rewards for having more of it!
How to get more:
You get 2 for every day that you've been registered to the forums, and you also get more by Posting. The amount you get for posting vary for every Forum.
News & Announcements:
+15 for a new subject*, +0 for a regular message
*The large number is to reward officers and leaders for posting new information for our members!
Public Forums:
+10 for a new subject*, +3 for a regular message
*the exception is Introductions, you get +25 for making a new message in there. Since that will be the first place many will post, it can be considered a starting bonus! This also encourages everyone to make an intro thread for themselves; However, only one topic per person is allowed and any more will be merged with your previous or deleted.
Member Forums:
+5 for a new subject*, +2 for a regular message
*The exceptions are "Events" and "Help", for those two forums you should be rewarded more for helping, not asking for help, wouldn't you say? :p
Administration forums:
Will not give any Gil for any kind of message.
